Mike, I'm not sure if Trump is aligned with any particular group, rather he courts his supporters and everyone else is either unimportant or the enemy. I agree with you that anti-semitism is mostly a politically acceptable excuse to target foreigners and elite institutions to play to Trump's base. However, Harvard's own investigation uncovered many examples of anti-semitism on campus (https://www.harvard.edu/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/FINAL-Harvard-ASAIB-Report-4.29.25.pdf) that extends beyond criticism of Israel.

• Not at home at Harvard (39%).
• Physically unsafe (26%).
• Mentally unsafe (44%).
• Unsupported in their well-being at Harvard (49%)."
Interestingly, Muslim students reported even greater negative experiences.
What is clear to me is that Harvard has taken this problem seriously and appears to be making a good faith effort to remedy. Canceling all their funding is utterly unjustified.
